About The Magdalene Centre

Each month, we provide information, advocacy and practical crisis support to over 700 households through our Assistance Centre. We empower people to develop essential life and social skills through our Community Programs. We create meaningful opportunities through our enterprise ventures.

Our programs are facilitated by 100 dedicated volunteers in addition to a small team of professional staff.

The Magdalene Centre is a partnership between St Mary Magdalene’s, St John’s Halifax Street, The Cathedral Church of St Peters and Anglicare SA.

The Magdalene Centre is an iconic provider of practical support to disadvantaged, isolated and marginalised individuals, families and communities in two inner city Adelaide locations: 26 Moore Street and 42-46 Carrington Street.
