Each child has an Individual Education Plan with goals developed by specialist case managers, in consultation with parents.
Children with autism spectrum disorders receive individual programming based on the South Australian early childhood education curriculum framework, and intensive one-on-one and group therapy.
The program is delivered by a multi-disciplinary team comprising six specialist staff and five trained childcare or disability workers.
The centre provides individual therapy spaces, a sensory room and small group areas as well as integration to provide children with autism spectrum disorders the opportunity to receive services alongside mainstream children for at least part of their program. Anglicare SA is in a consortium with Autism SA, whch provides training, and Flinders University, which provides student placements and contribute to research and evaluation.
